Greenhouse Gases
Notes:
Share of Greenhouse Warming Due to Different Greenhouse Gases.
The Kyoto Protocol marks the first international attempt to place legally binding limits on greenhouse gas emissions from developed countries. In addition to carbon dioxide (CO2), the Protocol focuses on five other greenhouse gases: methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulfur hexafluoride (SF8).
